2024 Walk/Run/Bike for Umstead

Saturday, April 20, 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Choose between a 4-mile Walk/Run,

or a 4-, 7– or 12-mile off-road bike tour.

Enjoy live music on the main stage. 

This is a community event for the appreciation, use,

and preservation of William B. Umstead State Park.

Funds raised will go towards restoration of the

104 historic cabins and mess halls, invasive plant control, and environmental education.

The registration fee (which varies based on age

and date of registration) includes Walk/Run/Bike,

T-shirt, live music, snacks, door prizes & free gifts. Spectators free of charge.

Numerous awards and prizes will be given based on amount of pledges raised and fastest participants.
