Saturday, March 30 Trip # BT2402
Hi, RSOC members. Weather is starting to get warmer so we must be nearing the time to get back on the water! With that in mind, we are planning on having a boat and trailer maintenance day to get everything in shape for the coming season. Paul Santrock has generously volunteered his driveway at 4721 Treadstone Court in Raleigh for us to work starting at 10:00 a.m. No experience or skills are necessary. Just bring some work cloths, gloves, safety glasses and rags if you have them, along with a fun attitude!
Tasks may include general cleaning of the boats, wire brushing rust, painting and varnishing, rewiring lights on the trailer, taping up holes in sails, maybe fiberglass work, etc.
We will provide pizza and soft drinks for lunch to thank you for your time and effort. (Or bring your own beverage).
Please let me know if you plan to attend so I can contact you if there are any changes in plans. We don’t have a rain date right now (Sunday is Easter), so hope for warm dry weather.
Thanks, Mark Senior, Boating Director
