CRESCENT SKI COUNCIL SPRING CONVENTION

This is a Crescent Ski Council event and you must be a member of RSOC or one of the other Crescent clubs to attend. Deadline for signing up will be the February 13 club meeting. Please pay in full — no partial payments.

Start the spring with a trip to Myrtle Beach and the Crescent Ski Council Spring Convention.  This is not just an event for skiers. It is a fun weekend at the beach at one of the nicest resorts in Myrtle Beach. There will be approximately 150 people attending from the 18 CSC clubs. It is a great opportunity to meet other CSC members. 

Kingston Plantation is an oceanfront paradise with beautifully landscaped grounds and white sand beaches. Enjoy a NEW 50,000 sq. ft. pool complex to swim, float, sun or just relax. A restaurant and lounge are on the premises. The Sports and Health Club has an indoor lap pool, cardio-vascular equipment, sauna, whirlpool, and tennis courts. Kingston Plantation has well-furnished  condos, with a full kitchen, coffee maker, microwave, dishwater, washer/dryer, cable TV, phones, maid service.

The schedule of events includes:

♦ Thursday evening —  Early Bird Reception for the people wanting an early start to this long weekend at the beach.

♦ Friday morning — Golf, Mini-Golf, and Tennis Tournament with prizes. Or, enjoy an open day to take in the beach, resort amenities, or Myrtle Beach shopping.

♦ Saturday afternoon — Famous and Fun Beach Olympics. RSOC has had a very good showing the last few years; so, let’s continue our impressive record and have a strong participation to bring home the title this year.

♦ Saturday night — “HOT AND SPICY!” Theme Party with DJ. There will also be door prizes provided by the tour operators, ski resorts, and other sponsors.

There will be plenty of free time to enjoy the beach and the beautiful facilities at Kingston Plantation.  Also, you are very near one of the outlet malls and just a short drive from Barefoot Landing and many restaurants.

The CSC Spring Convention is so much fun; so, sign up and be a part of it!

Our club is in charge of the Saturday night theme party “Hot and Spicy!”. The party’s coordinator, Dwen Andrews, could use your help in creating decorations; so, please contact her at dwencita@gmail.com to volunteer.

Two condos have been reserved for four nights (Thursday through Sunday nights). They will be available on a first-come/first-served basis.
