KAYAK THE HAW RIVER
Sunday, June 9, 2019 Trip #AD1904
Join us for a half-day kayak and canoe trip on the Haw River in Saxapahaw! The route is about 4.7 miles long and is flat water with an easy put-in and take-out. Those who have done this in the past have had loads of fun! Be sure to bring sunscreen, a sun hat, dry bag, snacks, water sandals, bug spray, and PLENTY OF WATER to hydrate. Wear your bathing suit and/or clothes you don’t mind getting wet, as well as a change of clothes and towel because, after the paddle, we will go to one of the area’s neat restaurants and/or breweries for those who’d like to extend our time together.
Sign-up at the May RSOC meeting, or via the RSOC website www.RSOC.club. Please get the Coordinator's okay prior to registering online. Also let the Coordinator know if you’d like to carpool.
